MONTESSORI Wooden SMELLING BOTTLES (Jars) with Tray - Sensorial

Contents:

Two sets of six bottles with lids and a holding tray. First set of bottles has red lids, second set has green lids. Each bottle or jar has a small lid underneath the top lid with wholes to improve the penetration of smell. There are 12 wooden bottles or jars in total.

Objective:

The aim of this smelling jars exercise is to develop and refine olfactory senses in the child and improve matching skills.

Substances with different smells are placed inside the first set of jars and exactly the same matching substances are placed in the second set of jars. The objective is for the child to match each bottle in the first set with a bottle that has the same smell from the second set.

Bottle: 9 cm x 4.5 cm
